Chapter 28 : Who's Fault After All?

So Rob helped Jo to go till the top of mountain and there they would stay for the night

Meanwhile

Martin took Jo's parents to Rob's place so they could see what was really going on.  He parked his car and said :


-Its here..- he said
-Ok thanks Martin - Jo's dad said and he left the car.

Jo's mother were kinda feeling bad , she was too nervous about evreything but she also left the car. They went to Rob's door but before that , Rob's parents were fighting a lot

-ITS ALL YOUR FAULT , YOU ARE A BAD FATHER , I REPEAT , BAD FATHER- Rob's mother were screaming
-Yeah , can judge me , can call me anything , but honestly...i think i am not part of this family no more...i should go-his dad said
-Yeah go away  , we dont need you...- she said

When he was about to open the door , Jo's parents and Martin knocked on the door. He opened the door and then Jo's mother said:

-Is my daughter over there?
-Whos your daughter? - Jamie asked
-Joanna-

Robs sister heard the conversation and came to the door

-Joanna is robs new girlfriend dad-she said
-She is missing and I thought she would be here- Jos mam started to get tears in her eyes
-Oh my God my Rob is missing too what shall we do- Robs mam said

Meanwhile

Jayson came out of the police station. He told them everything even about the death of Rob and Jo. He sat on a bench outside the station and started to cry he couldn't believe his best friend and close friend were gone, then a thought suddenly clicked in his head maybe they weren't dead
Maybe they might be still at the house and the guy only wanted the money
Jayson thought about going to this place but why? this would help? this would make him more relief about their suppose death?

He was too confused and shocked about everything , he decided to go home first to take a cold shower and think better...


Back to Rob's place...

Their families were trying to figure out everything..

-Thats very weird - Martin commented- why they both would go missing?
-Rob went out to take Joanna to her house and he didnt come back - Rebecca said extremly sad - but i remember that Rob asked me what i would do if i never saw him again because i said that i hated him and i was like go away and stuff but i think he was kinda saying goodbye...- Rebecca looked down
-Are you saying that they might....- Jo's dad didnt finished the sentece
-OH MY GOD- Martin said - They ran away....


Meanwhile

Rob and Jo were at the top of the mountain and Rob was hugging Jo because it was very cold

-Damn Jo you are shaking - he said
-I know , i am starving- she said
-I wish i had some snacks hidden in my pocket , i always did that when i was a kid- he said
-Haha really?
-Yeah , thats why i was chubby
-How come you got this body then? you so fit- she said
-I dont know , i think was football you know- he said
-Damn Rob , if we die you wont ever be a football player , i totally ruined your future- she said
-Oh no , not this again- he said - stop blaming yourself , it just happened , not your fault- he said and kissed her cheek
-I know im sorry-she looked down -this time yesterday we were having the time of our lifes now we are here-
-I know jo but lets say this is our first date you know a adventure date-he laughed
-Your so stupid if you took me on a date in the forest I would leave you-
-Nah you wouldn't-rob put his arm around her

Jo looked at him and smiled

-What?- Rob askes
-You- Jo laughed
-What about-
-Is weird that i've liked you for so long and when I finally get you i'm close to death so I should treasure these moments- Jo put her head on his shoulder

 Meanwhile

The two families were sat around the table and there was a loud knock at the door
Robs father decided to open the door and there he saw the police and his heart jumped into his mouth

-Good evening - An officer said
-Good evening...- he said
-Is there Robert James Jefferson house? - the officer asked
-Yeah , he is my son why??
-We got some informantions about him and someone who was with him tonight , Joanna Jessica Jones
-Thats my daughter ..- Jo's mother got up and came to the door
-I am sorry to tell this but theres some informations that they are both...
-Both what officer?
-They are dead..

Its very hard to tell people to say that someone really close to them just died , maybe is the harderst thing to tell someone , because no one is prepared to die or  that someone near them can just go away like this.
Everybody who were in the living room , got quiet. There was no words to say
The officer was very prepared to tell them that but it was very hard to watch that scene

-I am sorry..- the officer said - but we got our officers trying to find the bodies...
-Bodiess??? are they dead???noooo no wayy- Rob's mother started to scream and get down on her kneess , she was desperate
-Calm down please- the officer said

Rob's dad didnt know what to say or to do , he just walked away
Jamie walked away pretty mad at himself , because he thought that Rob and Jo ran away and the thing about him cheating his wife , according to him , just happened to make things worse.

' My son died? is this for real? am i dreaming? i cant believe my Rob died...i cant even stay inside of that house....i cant ....' he started to cry and get mad

When then , while he was walking desperate he saw something on the street
It was a cell phone. He got the phone and said:

-Oh my God...thats Rob's phone...

Jamie went back into the house and saw everyone crying

-I found this- he put on the table and cried too
-Oh my god its Robs phone- Robs mom cried even more 
-My baby is gone-she said
-I am very sorry we are investigating it seems that the states most wanted man called tony took them and well murdered them-

Jo mom couldn't talk 

-But howw do you know this-
-Tony used one of their phones to call Robs friend to tell him they are dead-

Meanwhile

Jo and Rob were holding hands tight

-Wow the stars look awesome uh- Jo said
-Yeah they do-Rob said and looked down
-I'm sure we will be ok-Jo said and kissed his cheek
-We will - he said - better stay here with you than with Kim...
-Oh my God , dont even talk about that cow..serious..i hate her- Jo said
-Yeah i dont hate her
-Why???? she should burn in hellllllllll
-Because she made me see that i was wasting time not being with you....its all her fault that i got you as my amazing and beautiful and sexy girlfriend- he smiled

Jo shook her head trying to be serious , but she couldnt help , she smiled

-You smilingggggg awww - he said
-Stop being cheesy- Jo said
-Why??you dont like?
-I hate mate-she said
-Oh ok i be serious then...- he stopped to hug her and sat a little bit away from her
-Ahh you serious Roberto??
-Yes i am , good night - he said and tried to lay down
-Nooo come here - she went to hug him
-Go away...- Rob joked

Meanwhilee

The families were still desperate thinking that Rob and Jo were dead , it was a tragedy

-Officer , you said the man who got them called to Rob's friend?
-Yeah he did- the officer said - we are trying to find by the Satellite from where he called
-Ok but who is this friend?? - Rob's mother asked
-Jayson Smith
-Jayson???- Rob's dad said

Jamie remember about Rob talking about Jayson and Kim and all those cheating thing that happened a couple of days ago and somehow , it seems everything made sense

-This Jayson boy dont like Rob....- Jamie said
-Damn , i know him , he is the guy who Kim slept with..- Martin said loud
-look we cant jump to conclusions- the officer said
-Jayson wouldn't of did anything bad to Rob- his mom said

Meanwhile

-Come on is scary here- Jo said
-Isnt-

Jo sat ontop of rob

-Hahahahah- she said
-Eww nooo get off me- Rob pushed her off him

But he didnt realise how hard he pushed her. Jo fell off Rob and hit her head on the tree

-Shit- Rob shouted
-Oh my God..- she said - did i died? am i in heaven?? you look like an angel - Jo said
-Oh no , i messed you up shit shit....- Rob laughed
-You stupid , you hurt me- she said - it actually hurts
-Let me take care of you then- he said
-No ..i dont want , why i fell in love with you seriously?? Dimitri would take care of me better for sure- Jo said
-Dont you dare to say that Jo...or i swear i will leave you heere
-You hurt me and now you will leave me???? wow....such a nice boyfriend!!!
-Thats me - he smiled
-Rob lets make a promise- she said
-What promise babe??- he asked looking into her eyes
-If we ever leave this place , that we are going to marry in hawaii and after that we will spend days at the beach till i become really really tanned and then we will live together forever yeyeye
-Hmm let me think- he said looking at the sky - ok , i dont have a choice anyways- She smiled and they kissed

Even though things were really bad for them ,somehow , they were trying to make everything better..

-You know kim used to touch my neck when we kissed-
-Mmmm well im not her-
-You should try I like-
-You want me to be like her rob? - Jo asked
-What nahhh-
-You always talk about her- Jo got annoyed
-Well she is my ex cant I talk?-
-Why tell me? 
-Cause you care about me it still hurts you know what she did
-Your not over her then
-Uhh
-God I knew I was some rebound you used me cause you got lonely you dont actually want me omg why did I just notice this

Jo stood up

-Whaaatttttt you serious? - Rob shouted
-I'm going- Jo said
-Where? -
-Homeeeee- she shouted

Jo started to walk away

Jo were on the top of the mountain so she couldnt just walk away so she tried to go down but in the end , she fell and hurt her foot

Jo started to scream a lot

-OH MY GOD ARGHHH DAMN IT....- she screamed and then the swear words also came out of her mouth

Rob came to see her but he was laughing sooo much

-SEEE SEE , you tried to kick mee , now you got hurt  , cant even walk hahahahahaahha
-God shut up , just help me - Jo said laid on floor , she couldnt move
-I will just because i love you- he said and helped her

Rob got Jo and helped her to get up but then Jo started to complain

-Oh my God , hurts soo badly- she started to bite her lip
-Ahh i think you broke it...- Rob said worried
-No not broken but its hurt , i cant walk- she said
-Ok...just hug me tight and i will take you to the top of the mountain again and we will sleep there
-Nooo Rob , why? no need , lets stay here
-Its dark here and besides that from the top of the mountain we can see the city , its like somehow i have more hopes you know? so get up on my back - He smiled
-Fine- Jo said

Rob took Jo to the top of the mountain and then they just stayed there in silence...


Jo were thinking deeply 

'I cant believe i am here , honestly , i feel so dumb , it seems i'm getting punish for runing away from my own house but like why not take risks right? Look at Rob , he looks so serious now , all the happiness that i saw in his eyes in the morning when we woke up together its was just immense but now , his eyes are full of worries and fear! I was soo scared today , i thought that man would abuse me ...thank God he didnt , because if he did i dont think i could take , it would be awful....well , if it was Kim who did all this i swear she is going to pay in the same way...i swear' Jo thought


While Jo were thinking about all this , Rob couldnt stop to think about his family and about his life. 

Rob realised that since he broke up with Kim it seems that everything became harder and confused. Many things were happening to him and in a way too fast ...he couldnt handle it... Rob always dreamed about have fun in life , travel the world , cover his body with many tattoos , get a nice carrer and live his life the most but it seems that this was only a dream , that this wouldnt ever happen...so how can you have hopes in life when you see that your life is destroyed? if you cant see the lights in the end of the tunnel?

Jo looked at Rob and said :

-Rob , why are you crying? - Jo asked

Rob never realised that while he was thinking about his life , he started to cry...

-I dont know...why life has to be so hard?
-I dont know babe- she said touching his face - stop crying uh
-Jo , i saw how that man was mean to you , i saw the anger in his eyes , i thought he would of killed us - he started to cry loads - we almost died because of Kim....because i broke up with her...
-I know..
-Why i am so unlucky? and like you even asked me if i was over her...like i am over her ages ago to be honest
-Really Rob?
-Yeah , i was lying to myself , i thought that i loved that too much and that i would marry her you know but then i started to get disgusted of Kim ...everything that she said , everything that she did it made me like nervous but i didnt want to accept this you know
-Yeah...i understand
-Yeah...so i am over her , do you believe me? - Rob sat closer to Jo - do you believe that you are the only that i want? 
-You promise?
-I do...i promise , i swear....i dont want anyone else but you...
-Aww
-Kiss me and please dont stop...make me forget this day , lets pretend that today is yesterday ...that when i threw you on your bed and i kissed your body ..ahh damn i cant even remember - he said while pratically touching his lips on her lips
-I was just about to say that - she smiled - lets forget that we are hungry and cold...and that man almost killed us - Jo put her arms around Rob's neck - lets pretend that we are in my bedroom , just us 
-Yeah...- Rob said and started to kiss Jo

This kiss were different of any kiss that Rob ever had . That kiss were a mix of joy and sadness , with taste of the salt of he tears with the sweet taste of their lips.

Sometimes people or things bring us down and make us feel really small  or feel like nothing and is inevitable to not sad or think about negative things but if you can look at your problem in a different way then everything can change...as the famous quote said

'When Life give you Lemons make Lemonade'

And that was what Jo and Rob were doing...


Meanwhile

Jayson came to his place feeling really weird. He opened the door and went to lay on sofa straight away. There was no words that could explain how deeply sad Jayson was...

-I cant believe...i cant believe - Jayson keep repenting to himself 

Then all of suddlen someone says 

-Cant believe what?? - 
-Damn Cece , its you....dont freak me out!! - Jayson said 
-Freak you out? i was in the kitchen getting some snacks when i hear you talking with yourself - Jayson sister say
-Oh ....
-What happened? cant believe in what Jayson?- she asked again
-Life- he said
-Life?? what you mean? did you and Kim had another fight??- Cece asked
-Worse than that- Jayson said with tears in his eyes
-Worse?? Is Kim pregnant? - Cece asked
-If she was pregnant , i wouldnt be the father
-Yeah obviously , it would be Rob , but you cheated your best friend....- Cece throw the truth on his face
-SHUT UP NOWWW!! - Jayson kicked the table that got it broken
-Woah , you gonna pay for that Mister Hulk
-Oh my God....isnt Kim fault..is my fault - Jayson sat on the chair and put his both hands on his hair
-Mmm i dont get it
-I KILLED ROB!!!- He shouted

His sister Cece got horriefied about what Jayson just said...

-What?? - she said
-I killed him..- he repeated
-How?- she asked
-Kim and I got a man to do something agaisnt his new girlfriend and then he took Rob and Joanna to this place and killed them , but i ordered them to do something...i said we would pay but in the end he killed them- Jayson said coldy
-Oh my God....
-I went to police , because i felt that somehow i could help them like this , like police could do something like find the bodies....but i didnt want this to happen you know
-Jayson....look.....- Cece didnt finished the sentese , she pointed at the window

When they looked outside there was many Police cars parking around his place

-God , its police....do you think they came to get me???- Jayson said shaking

But then all of suddlen , the police went away and Jayson couldnt understand why

-What happened?? they didnt came to get me?? - he said breathing fast
-I guess they didnt , but Jayson , if you did what you just told me , you should confess my brother- Cece said
-How Cece?? you want me to die in the jail??? i cant...


Meanwhile


Jo and Rob's family were still reunited at Rob's place..
There was no many people talking , people were speachless...what they could say?
No one wants to die and its really sad when young people die because they never had the chance of growing up or the chance of getting successful in their lives...
Martin was extremly sad , so he decided to call Jo's best friend and tell her what happened , so he could share his pain and also he would  have someone to open his heart...

Martin got his phone and called Rachael

-Hello?
-Heeeey Martin baby , i miss youuuu - Rachael said 
-Miss you too
-Why that sad voice??oh by the way , Jo's parents called me asking me about her and i was like i never saw her the whole day hahaha if she died i would never know hahaha , stupid Jo , is she back home yet?- Rachael asked
-No...
-No? weird...well she must be having the time of her life with Rob
-Maybe in heavenn...- Martin said serious
-What?
-Jo and Rob arent here no more Rach , they died....
-What???????????????????


The news about Jo and Rob  death spread really quickly. Many people were paying their respect everywhere , twitter , facebook and others...People were mourning about their death...

The parents went to the police to check more info about if the officers would find the bodies or not....
Everyone lost their hopes about Jo and Rob being alive , even their parents but there was one person who didnt..


Jayson were more calm now after taking a cup of water and some tablets to relax. Now that the pressure was gone for a while , he had time to think about what he should do....

Cece was still near him , holding his hand in silence wondering what her brother were thinking , since they were quiet for the past 20 mins

'Should i stay here and hide or should i tell police that was me who told that man to do the service?? I cant do this..i will ruin my life...if only there was a way to do something to help Rob and Jo? if only i could come back in time...' Jayson thought


Cece , was a very curious girl and she was dying inside to know about what really happened to Jo and Rob , there was many questions in her head that she wanted to ask Jayson and he did


-Jayson , i know you dont wanna talk but i must to know , how do you know that they died?
-Tony Bravo said it
-Hmm ok and if this is a lie? and if they never died?
-What you mean?
-That he might said this to get more money , isnt that obvious?
-Oh my God , i think you are right
-Jayson....if i am right , damn , i dont know , i will make you clean my room forever hahahahhaa
-Ceceeee you might be right - Jayson got up fast - the man maybe lied yeah ....yeah ...i remember that i asked him where they were and he told me the address but i cant remember

-I am trying....hmm it was Middle...no.....meddley...no wait....hmmm God i cant remember
-Try harder , you must to save your best friend..- Cece said

When she said that , Jayson heart hurt a lot , because deep inside he regretted soo badly about what he done , about the cheating , about the lies , the bad treatment....everything...

Jayson started to remember about the times that Rob helped him in life , things that happened a couple of years ago


'-Jayson , dont forget our jam....
-Jam? we dont need a jam Rob...i suck..
-You dont suck , Samuel suck hahahaha- Rob joked
-Ah kinda 
-Broo ,our jam is When Life Gives You Waves Learn how to Surf... when life  is shit , throw the shit on the fan hahahhaha , cant be sad forever

-I dont know but like i dont think i deserve a friend like you
-You do...you are the brother that i never had , brother from another mother haha
-Yeah - Jayson smiled
-Ok now lets flirt with those chicks over there , i bet you can get the blondieee

Jayson looked down...


The memories just made him feel even worse but also made him realise that if there was a chance of finding him , he should do it , he should go after them...

-Cece , i wont stay here , waiting ...i wont , i will go find Rob
-Will you? but what about the address?- Cece asked
- 156 Medow House...- he said
-Oh God thats it??
-HELL YEAH , lets go find them , come with me
-Gosh , lets go Jayson- Cece said all proud of her brother


Jayson were about to put his life in risk to try to save his best friend from death but the question  , it would be worth? Would Jayson find them in time??
